The Fret ‘n Fiddle is very pleased to welcome Daniel Dawson to our staff. Daniel is an excellent fiddler player. He is also very proficient in instrument repair, specializing in violins. He has received violin repair training from Chris Germain at the Augusta Heritage workshops at Davis and Elkins College..

Our Staff

In 1976 Joe Dobbs with the help of his brother Dennis started the Fret'n Fiddle music shop in Huntington, West Virginia. Shortly after Dennis left the business in 1980 Joe moved the Fret'n Fiddle to St. Albans, West Virgina. For the past 30 years the Fret'n Fiddle has enjoyed the respect of the musician and collector.

We welcome Eric Price to our staff. Eric is a singer who plays guitar and harmonica. He is most capable to assist the professional musician or the beginner in selecting their musical needs.

We offer new and used string instruments. We are a Martin Dealer. We have been shipping instruments all over the world for the past 20 years.

We are one of the few aurthorized Martin repair centers in West Virginia. Consigned merchandise has always been a large part of our service to the customer.

Recently we have added the Fret'n Fiddle Recording Studios for the convenience or our customers.
